Focus 9 Technology, LLC - Solid State DME / Fan Relays

Replace your old failure-prone mechanical relays with a premium Solid-State upgrade. Because it has no moving parts, it cannot wear out like the original or aftermarket relays do. Installation within minutes without tools!
For Porsche 911, 993, 964, 968, 944 and 924S.
DME Relay
The DME Relays are available for:
- Porsche 911 3.2L Carrera (replaces 911 618 154 00)
- Porsche 924 S - all models (replaces 944 615 227 00)
- Porsche 944 - all models (replaces 944 615 227 00)
- Porsche 968 - all models (replaces 944 615 227 00)
- Porsche 964 - all models except turbo (replaces 993 615 227 00/01/02)
- Porsche 993 - all models except turbo (replaces 993 615 227 00/01/02)
Pump-Prime option only available for:
- Coupe (not for cabriolets)
- 993 models 1994 and 1995 (except turbo)
The DME Relays are available in four versions:
Replaces the stock failure prone DME Relay with a Solid State version.
Replaces the stock failure prone DME Relay with a Solid State version including pump-prime function.
The optional Pump-Prime feature automatically runs the fuel for up to 3 seconds when the ignition is switched to the On position. This builds optimum fuel pressure before cranking the engine, insuring your Porsche starts as fast and as smooth as it possibly can.
Replaces the stock failure prone DME Relay with a Solid State version including diagnostic functions.
The optional Diagnostics feature allows you to instantly know the state of the DME Relay. It features four LEDs that are directly connected to the critical inputs and outputs of the relay. All four LEDs must be illuminated for the engine to start and run. If one or more LED(s) are off, there is an issue with the corresponding circuit.
- Ignition SW – (Yellow) Input signal to power up fuel injection system and enable fuel pump control.
- Fuel Inj. Power – (Red) Output indicating the fuel injection system is powered up.
- Ctl. Fuel Pump – (Blue) Input signal indicating the DME has commanded the fuel pump on.
- Fuel Pump – (Green) Output indicating the fuel pump is powered up.
Replaces the stock failure prone DME Relay with a Solid State version including pump-prime and diagnostic functions.
944 / 968 Fan Relay
The Fan Relays are available for:
- Porsche 944 - equiped with dual cooling fans (replaces 944 615 104 05)
- Porsche 968 - equiped with dual cooling fans (replaces 944 615 104 05)
The Fan Relays are available in two versions:
Replaces the stock failure prone Fan Relay with a Solid State version.

Replaces the stock failure prone Fan Relay with a Solid State version including diagnostic functions.
This Diagnostics version of the Fan SSR has two buttons and two LEDs. The buttons simulate the temperature switch in the radiator by momentarily activating low-speed or high-speed fan operation.
By pressing the button for low-speed fans, followed by high-speed fans (Ignition Switch must be in the ON position), you can hear the fan speed increase. Simply verify the sound and that both fans are spinning, and you have instantly verified the relay, fuses, fans, resistors (low speed operation), and associated wiring are all functioning.
Using the LEDs, you can monitor if the temp switch in the radiator is commanding low-speed and/or highspeed fans. When the temp switch grounds the temp slow or fast control line to activate low-speed or high-speed fans, the corresponding LED will illuminate.
